Record every donation
Non-profits rely heavily on donations made by charitable people or organizations to show their support for their cause. ERPNext helps you keep track of donors and the donations they make by recording important information like donor type, date of donation, mode of payment and payment ID. You can also configure ERPNext to create payment entries automatically on submitting a donation, and create certificates to let donors avail tax deductions.
Apply for grants
Nonprofits can also distribute funds to individuals or organizations through grants. Applicants submit a proposal containing details about themselves, the requested amount, and a description of the project for which they wish to receive funds. An Assessment Manager can then score the application out of ten and decide whether to disburse the grant to the applicant.
